This is going to be short and sweet. We had our normal NYE party with about 16 people in to see in the new. Playing silly games and partaking in a Phillipa Quiz, which of course Team Kylie won with able support from son Tom and myself. Then on the stroke of midnight all hell broke loose when the big lady guppy decided that Jan one was the day to have guppylets. Unfortunately like the titans who were afraid of their children the males decided that they looked quite tasty. But on a good note two have survived and as we speak thrived. May I wish everybody who reads this, and you know who you are, a very happy new year and I hope to catch up with you soonish.

Congratulations on the regent honeyeater. Any pictures to put in your blog? Regarding the pygmy heron, it just goes to show that I should reread what I wrote. It should say pygmy cormorant. We are having an ice storm now so I am just off to take about 1cm of ice off the car windows before work. Cheers,
