For the last week of the sojourn in France we journeyed from Seillans to the quite quaint, quietly quaffed, and yes you guessed, it a medieval hill village. However unlike the Danish enclave this had everything a touring holidaymaker could want and wish for. Even the telly worked but it was all in French which, funnily enough, didn’t come as much of a surprise. Anyway we never switched it on so the language problem was in fact not a problem. The swimming pool was also a bonus though as a non-swimmer it just looked good. The ping pong table on the other hand was very useful and now it seems that the Sitters/Collins household is going to invest in one as well. It had also got a high level petanque court and wild boar in the area, the gate had to be kept closed to stop the little darlings from ripping up the lawn and flower beds. So the week was filled with eating, drinking, swimming (for some), and ping pong with the occasional foray into the hills and supermarket. All in all a very enjoyable break.
Duck is just a canard in boars clothing.
