So we skittered through Kingston and the GPS worked wonders. We had read that the roads were pretty rough, and in the more rural areas they are, but outside of Kingston there is an amazing motorway with no cars on it.
The bed and breakfasty place at Mandeville was so much like other places in Jamaica, in need of some maintenance and TLC but the people were so friendly . We stuck a pin in the map from whence we came as some sort of rite of passage, after which we had brekky with the owner each morning. For an urban environment there were a few birds surprisingly the best as a lone Jamaican Crow being harassed by some sort of grackle.
