While drinking rum at Jakes Place a Willet whizzed past and it was a joy to see so many American migrants as well as most of the islands endemics, 22 out of 27. The final total was 93 after a quick visit to Pedro ponds we added Black-crowned and Yellow crowned Night Heron, Belted Kingfisher, Northern Jacana and Red-eyed Vireo. Also a couple of West Indian Whistling duck waddled in. This place would be great if they maintained it but after years of neglect seeing anything is a challenge. If they looked at any nature reserve and put a bit of time and effort into it this would be a fantastic tourist draw instead of the sex and debauchery industry.
